Formula One statistics ahead of Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix:

WINS

Lewis Hamilton's Monaco Grand Prix win was McLaren's second of the season and ended a run of four Ferrari victories in succession.

McLaren have won 158 races, Ferrari 205 and Williams 113.

POINTS

Renault's Fernando Alonso needs one more point to become only the sixth driver to score 500 points in Formula One. Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen (currently on 491) needs to win to reach that milestone.

Raikkonen's ninth place in Monaco ended the Finn's run of 12 successive races in the points and meant that no driver has scored in every race this season.

QUALIFYING

Ferrari will celebrate their 200th pole position in Formula One if either Felipa Massa or Raikkonen are fastest in qualifying.

BMW Sauber's Robert Kubica, Renault's Fernando Alonso and Toyota's Jarno Trulli are the only drivers to have outqualified their team mates in every race so far this season.

Massa has outqualified Raikkonen 5-1 but is still behind his team mate on points.

SEQUENCE

Ferrari and McLaren have between them won every race since Renault's Alonso triumphed at the Japanese Grand Prix of October 2006, a run of 24 in a row.

CANADA

This year's race is the 40th edition of the Canadian GP and the 30th in Montreal. McLaren have won two of the last three races there but Ferrari have won seven of the last 13.

Massa can become the first Brazilian winner in Montreal since Nelson Piquet senior in 1991.

The last two races in Canada have been won by the driver starting on pole position. However, only three of the last 10 have gone with pole.

Ferrari's last win from pole position in Montreal was with Michael Schumacher in 2000.
